Team
Downstream Intelligence is led by Maura Brewer and Sam Lavigne, who cumulatively share 40 years of expertise in digital security, investigations, signal intelligence, and open-source intelligence.
Mission
Downstream Intelligence protects the institutions that hold our shared cultural memory. We believe that art, performance, and heritage deserve the same caliber of security and intelligence typically reserved for governments and global enterprise — delivered with discretion, sensitivity to mission, and respect for the openness that makes cultural spaces what they are. We help nonprofits, museums, theaters, galleries, festivals, and archives anticipate risk rather than react to it.
